A leading employer in the online education space, headquartered in the DC metro area, is looking for a remote Admissions Email Content Marketing Consultant for an immediate contract opportunity. This role is able to be fully remote but must work EST hours.

Admissions Email Content Marketing Consultant Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3+ years of progressive email marketing experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years recent Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience creating and deploying highly personalized emails. (Basic knowledge of AMPscript and HTML required).
  • Minimum of 1 year of Salesforce CRM experience (Classic or Lightening).
  • Strong data management and list segmentation experience using data extensions.
  • Proven success in meeting deadlines, creative problem-solving, effective time, and project management, and implementing user-friendly processes.
  • A documented history of successfully driving email campaigns to completion independently without external agency support.
  • Strong proofreading and copywriting skills are essential to be successful in this role.
Admissions Email Content Marketing Consultant Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute personalized email and SMS campaigns for lead nurturing, engagement, and business objectives.
  • Candidate will be responsible for managing the marketing calendar, content, segmentation, A/B testing, personalization, deployment, reporting, and postmortem analysis.
  • Validate data within Salesforce Marketing Cloud journeys and SMS sends to ensure the right communication is reaching the intended audience.
  • Conduct postmortem analyses and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Actively participate in requirements gathering, testing, personalization, A/B testing, and validation, while avoiding redundant outreach.
  • Uphold best-in-class standards for email and SMS campaigns, ensuring compliance with CAN SPAM and TCPA.
  • Analyze data for campaign performance optimization, including list segmentation.
  • Collaborate with Business teams for Marketing strategy execution using SFMC.
  • Maintain documentation of processes and newly learned features as this is a new and growing group.
  • Communicate project concepts and outcomes to the Director of Admissions Marketing clearly.
