Profiles is partnering with an international architecture firm in Washington, DC seeking a Proposal Writer for an immediate full-time position. The ideal proposal writer will have a background in proposal writing for the government sector. This is a direct-hire position, and applicants must reside locally in the DC area and come into the office 3 days a week.

Government Proposal Manager Responsibilities:
  • Develop and create marketing proposals and presentations to government and commercial clients.
  • Research business opportunities and prospects, reviews RFP’s and SOW’s, gather proposal responses/interview materials, and track award submissions.
  • Lead kickoff calls and team reviews, manage and drive content development.
  • Work closely with clients, leadership and team members on proposal and marketing strategy to increase brand awareness.
  • Manage design standards and create simple infographics, manage social media, and website content review.
Marketing Proposal Manager Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in government proposals and very familiar with Standard Form 330’s.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Strong background in RFP’s and RFQ’s, experience with GovWin, Sam.gov, System for Award Management (SAM), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and ProjNet is required.
  • Must be able to work in fast-paced, deadline driven environment (some weekend hours are likely).
  • Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Graphically capable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills are required.
