A large telecom company is seeking a part-time Digital Content Creator who will work closely with the social media and content marketing teams in an engagement-first content production capacity. This is a 100% remote/telecommuting position.

Applicants must be available by phone and/or online during established times at least two business days per week.

Digital Content Creator Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree is required, with Major in Marketing Communications, Digital Marketing, or Computer Sciences preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience as a writer – journalism, web and/or Social Media writer, communications/PR.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of light photo and video editing experience.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in preparing copy and visual content for the web and/or social media for a brand. Personal Social Media use is not applicable.
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or comparable programs.
  • Experience in interpreting and following established brand guidelines.
  • Fluent in Spanish preferred.

Digital Content Creator Responsibilities:
  • Work with social media and content marketing teams on dynamic content planning, editing and execution of cross-channel content. Themes may include, but are not limited to brand, entertainment & streaming, products and services, DE&I and community.
  • Prepare Social Media copy and engagement-first creatives to specification of applicable channels (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and/or web).
  • Edit photos and videos to social media and web specifications, as required. Implement established brand templates, as applicable.
  • Outline and curate web page content aligned with the Social Media editorial and established brand calendar.
  • Participate in dynamic content planning sessions and bring forward original ideas, trends and/or current best practices.
  • Support social media and content marketing special projects, as assigned.
