Contract – Supportive consultation and over-communication to guide hiring manager through first hire.
“As the VP of Communications, the company was used to working with Profiles, however, this was my first experience. It was a great experience, and I am thrilled with the candidate they placed on my team. We are well underway in launching a large project that will greatly affect the our presence and contributions with our charities.”
Jason, M., Community Relations Manager
The Client
The hiring manager of a global CPG (consumer product goods) brand was approved to hire a contractor.
The Challenge
The global CPG brand was in search of a Project Manager with strong relationship-building experience, specific to charitable giving. The business was onboarding a new software, launching in support of their community sponsorship with United Way. The setup of the digital program would be integrated with Salesforce and allow internal employees to donate and manage their own giving.
Additionally, this Project Manager position was the hiring manager’s first experience hiring an employee and working with a staffing agency before.
The Solution
The Profiles dedicated account team provided consultation, education, and guidance from start to finish. Profiles walked the hiring manager through the process of hiring a W2 employee, provided education on the cost of hiring a contractor, and helped them review and secure the final selection from four candidates.
The Results
Profiles presented four candidates, and the client hired the best fit. The candidate thrived in the role, and the contract continues to be extended in three-month increments.
