Washington, DC, April 20, 2017 – Mid-Atlantic Marketing and Creative staffing agency, Profiles welcomes Roderick Cardenas to the Washington, DC branch as its newest Talent Acquisition Manager. Roderick holds over eight years of experience as a graphic / digital designer and nine years of high-level administrative experience, topping it off with a couple years of staffing experience.
“I joined Profiles because of the team environment,” Roderick shares. “As a recruiter with a creative background, and joining a staffing agency within the creative niche, it just made sense.”
What Roderick finds most enjoyable about the staffing industry is the opportunity to connect people with their next step on the ladder of success. Being able to find people, and share new opportunities is what makes the job worthwhile. 
He also shares his persistence and dedication to his work, sharing he will not give up, and will do what he can to get the position filled – if not by himself, then someone at Profiles.
“I don’t crack under pressure, I thrive in it, and I’m a natural when it comes to speaking with people,” Roderick explains.
Born and raised across the pond, Roderick hails from Camden Town, London, though his parents are Colombian. He is fluent in Spanish and enjoys drawing, as well as playing videos games. League of Legends, anyone?
