Add video marketing to our repertoire! After months of scheduling, brainstorming, meeting, story boarding, and preparation, Profiles took on its last facet of marketing and completed its first ever video shoot.
Client participants and the Baltimore staff spent the day in our Washington DC office to join in on the video marketing project. We enlisted the creativity and expertise of Baltimore video agency, Shine Creative. Profiles was introduced to Shine Creative a few months ago, and the relationship has organically blossomed into something very special, making this project a fantastic experience.
Shine Creative Director, Dru Bynum, and Producer, Katie Boyts, set the scene for the first interview.
On set, Dru, Katie, and Cass were the crew for the day. Shine Creative Principal and Director, Dru Bynum, lead the team, manning the camera and getting all the right shots with his Canon C 100 with the help of Cass Lubberts for lighting and sound. Shine Creative Producer, Katie Boyts, was there every step of the way from our first meeting in the beginning stages to directing the interviews during filming.
Shots of b-roll captured as Profiles President & CEO, Joe Gambino, and Marketing Director, Polly Brady, discuss marketing materials.
Shooting began just after 10 am with our first client testimonial interview. Quick thinking, flawless answers, and kind words were what we received from our client participants. “It’s easy to speak highly about a subject when it’s the truth,” shared Scott Hall, eCommerce Director of one of the largest global hospitality companies and our first interviewee.
Profiles VP, John Hayes, and Strategic Account Manager, Stephanie Ranno, engage in an on-camera conversation with Scott Hall, eCommerce Director for one of the largest global hospitality company, while Shine Director, Dru Bynum, captures the shots for b-roll.
Scott breezed through his segment and even enjoyed extra camera time with Profiles’ own Stephanie Ranno and John Hayes. The same flow continued and the process was no problem for our second client participant, Rachel Russell, VP of Marketing at a Global Solutions Company. She, too, finished her segment engaging in an on-camera conversation with Recruiting Manager, Elissa Barnes, and Dru was there to capture it all. Lastly, interview shots finished up with, none other than President and CEO (and the face of Profiles), Joe Gambino making his video debut.

All client and staff participants looked and sounded great with the help of all three Shine Creative members, and we cannot wait to see what Shine will create with our footage. It was a great day of collaboration and bonding that ended with a social happy hour to cheers to a great day
We look forward to sharing the finished product within our video content strategy. Stay tuned!
