A Fortune 200 financial organization is looking for a detail-oriented Content Editor near Richmond, VA. This is a hybrid, 6-month contract where individuals will be required to work up to 2 days on-site and 3 days remotely.
The Digital Messaging Operations team is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Content Editor. The ideal candidate will possess a strong command of editorial standards, an exceptional eye for detail, and the ability to navigate multiple projects simultaneously. This role requires individuals to have excellent communication and collaboration skills, as you will be working closely with various individuals to produce high-quality content that aligns with brand standards and brand voice.

Content Editor Requirements:
- 4+ years of work experience as a Content Editor, preferably in digital and/or agency environments.
- Exceptional eye for detail, grammar, punctuation, and error detection.
- Proven ability to verify and re-verify content to ensure absolute accuracy.
- Working knowledge of AP Stylebook and the ability to adapt to various style guides.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Familiarity with Workfront, Jira, or other content management/tracking systems.
- Experience with Salesforce, Slack, Accessibility Standards, and Figma preferred.
Content Editor Responsibilities:
- Maintain full mastery of Gravity content guidelines, AP Stylebook, accessibility requirements, and our brand voice and tone.
- Thoroughly review, edit, and proofread emails from in-house teams and external agencies, ensuring compliance with email best practices, corporate editorial standards, and brand voice.
- Provide precise editorial feedback and revisions to designers using Adobe Acrobat, Google Workspace, and other tools like Taxi, Workfront, and Jira.
- Serve as an email subject matter expert, collaborating with business and creative teams to update existing content and develop new email marketing creatives.
- Lead and participate in special projects to support the content team or the Messaging team.
- Work closely with LOB partners, engaging early in the process for creative reviews and prioritization support.
- Ensure all content complies with regulatory and accessibility guidelines.
- Efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously within tight schedules and deadlines.
